The last weekend was absolutely gorgeous here in Santa Barbara. I organized a whale watching trip for the Bren School and the AEP Channel Counties Chapter. The event turned out better than I could have imagined. We saw a good number of humpback whales and the weather was unseasonably warm and calm.
This video above was taken with my Olympus digital camera. It almost seemed like the whales were showing off. We got so close to some of the whales that you could smell their spout breath, which smelled like rotting fish.
