Bay to Breakers 2

In my last post I tried to post some picture but apparently I am still a novice at this blogging thing. For some reason firefox does not like posting pictures to blogspot but explore works fine. The picture below is the beginning of the race with the Bren "running of the bulls" costume theme.

The start of the race was an endless parade of people for as far as the eye could see.

Bay to Breakers

Last weekend Ashley and I made the trip up to San Francisco to experience the wildness of San Francisco's annual Bay to Breakers 12 km race. Depending on your definition, Bay to Breakers represents both the best and the worst of San Francisco. I have experienced my fair share of parades and wild public gathering in SF especially through my college years at UC Santa Cruz, but Bay to Breakers was beyond anything I could have imagined.
